Hunger and malnutrition are the most serious health threats on the planet, outnumbering AIDS, malaria, and TB combined. Around 45 percent of children under the age of five die as a result of malnutrition. Children in low-income nations who live in extreme poverty, particularly in isolated locations, are more likely to be underfed and malnourished.
